Music

The Judge music program will compete against much larger schools with more musicians. However, based on the most recent state results from the 2024 state music festival, Judge should do fine.

Jordan had the most qualifiers for state last year and also the highest number of individuals and groups receiving superior ratings. The Beetdiggers got 11 superior ratings in the 4A competition. East had 10 participants with 9 superiors, Park City received six superiors, Cottonwood five, Judge and Juan Diego had two each, and Highland received one superior rating.

Theatre

The Judge thespians return a number of key performers for next year: Owen Crossman

Macy Dicks, Lexie Fisher, Theresa Jenny, Rourke Jensen, Owen Oderda, Morgan Schmutz, Maddie Shragge, Gabriel Thompson, Caroline Woodbury, Lexi Young. They won’t miss leaving Lihona behind as they are the perennial 3A sweepstakes winners. In 4A Cottonwood was first in sweepstakes and Murray fourth, so they are the schools to look for in the future.
