Mrs. Wilkstrom has spent more than twenty years teaching in the Salt Lake City School District, specializing in special education. Her journey as an educator has taken her through several schools and roles. She worked as a behavior specialist at Hillside Middle School for two years, taught there for nearly a decade, and also spent three years teaching part-time at Saint Vincent’s.
Mrs. Wikstrom is from Salt Lake City. She attended Judge for one year then went to East for the rest. Later, she studied at the University of Oregon, where she played soccer for the Ducks. Sports were always an important part of her life. In high school she juggled both soccer and basketball, much like her daughter does now.
