The week of September 25-29 was filled with some great events that you don’t want to miss hearing about! The Students 4 Students fundraiser, which is a fundraiser led by students, helps sustain Judge’s commitment to keeping our school affordable for all families regardless of their financial circumstances, by asking students to add 20 emails of people who may be interested in donating to Judge. This is a great opportunity for students involved in sports or activities, to raise some money for their team, because half of the money raised goes to an activity of your choice.
The Student Body Officer of Diversity and Inclusion is excited about the planning of Diversity Week. SBO officer Elise Djagba says “Diversity Week allows the student body to be exposed to the dope differences amongst one another.” The diversity and culture fair on October 5 will include Judge Memorial’s five affinity clubs with featured booths. Black Student Union, Latinos Unidos, Female Alliance, Allies Club, and Asian Pacific Islander Association.
Lots happened with sports this past week. Boys golf tied for the region championship, cross country boys and girls won the All-City championship for the first time, and girls tennis finished undefeated in the region and are the Region 15 champions.
