Blessed Sacrament students enjoy tossing a pie in the face of their principal. Juniors helped the elementary students during their games as part of the Christ the King Service Day on October 12.

On October 12, Mr.Johnstone’s advisory went to Blessed Sacrament, a K-8 grade school in Sandy. The whole school reached their goal of raising enough money so they earned “Yes Day,” a whole school party.

There were bouncy houses, face painting, pizza, ice cream, pieing, silly string, cotton candy and dunking the principal into some water in a dunk tank. I really enjoyed the bouncy houses because they were fun to play on, and one that I disliked was the students dunking the principal and then playing with silly string. I didn’t enjoy this because both of these events took place outside, and it was cold. We also had to sweep the silly string and that was annoying because the ground was wet so it was stuck on the floor.

All in all it was a good experience. This is something I would do again if I got the opportunity.
