    Best of Judge Memorial

As we approach the end of the 2023-2024 school year, we have decided to poll the students of Judge Memorial to get their thoughts on best things from seven categories around the school. The seven categories we polled are: Best Classroom View, Best Spot on Campus, Best Dance, Best Block Day, Best Lunch Item, Best Drinking Fountain, Best Snack Shack Item, and Best Pep Rally Game. We received 171 responses and were able to get a good idea of what Judge students think about these topics.
The first category was the best classroom view. This question ended up being neck and neck. Mr. Pacenza’s room ended up just sneaking past Mrs. Sobatka’s room by just 3%. The best spot on campus was much less competitive, as the beach took home over half of the total votes. The most lopsided results came in the best block day question, with Thursday’s 8-6 schedule taking it easily with 54% of the votes.

The best drinking fountain was another close one, with the fountain right outside of the training room edging past the cafeteria fountain. The best snack shack and lunch items were landslides, with dirty soda and cookies winning each respectively, garnering over 40% of the total votes each.

The best pep rally game was another landslide, with musical chairs winning by no surprise. If you’ve been in the gym during that game, you know exactly why it won this category. Finally, the best dance was probably our closest one, with Homecoming just sneaking past Prom and Winters with just 38% of the votes.
