Rod Wave’s fans eagerly awaited the release of his album “Beautiful Mind.”

In order to get them hyped, Rod Wave posted teasers on his Instagram story and released a few songs prior to the album’s release. His distinct sound, which blends piano and guitar, sets him apart from other rappers. Rod Wave’s music generally speaks from the heart and his lyrics are full of meaning. Rod Wave’s music really resonates with his listeners because it reflects his own struggles and experiences. His lyrics are raw and honest, which allows listeners to connect on a personal level. His music speaks to the heartache, pain and joy of everyday life in a way that is relatable and powerful.

I rate this album six out of 10 as there are a few songs I don’t like, and I think he could have done better. In some songs, the intros are too long, and others like “Druksi Phone Skit” are entirely voicemails.

My favorite songs from this album are “Keep Going,” “Forever,” “By Your Side,” and “Cold December.”

Rod Wave’s songs typically touch on topics such as lost love, haters and chasing a bag. His main theme is the pain he has experienced throughout his life. Rod Wave declared this to be his last “sad a** album” which suggests he will focus more on hope and happiness in his future music.
