On Tuesday April 16th the Judge Bulldogs Boys JV soccer team went up against the Juan Diego Soaring Eagles JV team on Tuesday April 16th. The game started off slow as neither team scored in the first half. However the game completely changed in the second half. The Soaring Eagles started the second half strong as they got a quick goal. However the Bulldogs wouldn’t go down easily and used the goal as motivation to pick it up. The boys then went on to score off a free kick that came into the penalty box and thanks to the other team was headed into the back of the net. The Juan Diego boys went on to score another own goal leaving the score 1-2 in favor of the Bulldogs. With 20 minutes left in the game the Judge boys put one past the goalie to cap off the game. In the end Judge won the game 3-1 against their bitter rivals Juan Diegos. This did not come off as much of a surprise as the last time these two played each other Judge also won but by a bigger margin of 4-1. Overall the day went well for Judge soccer as not only did JV win but so did varsity. The Varsity Judge team beat Juan Diego 2-1 in overtime as the game ended 1-1 in regular time.
