Nyuon Chuol is currently a sophomore and a transfer student from Hillcrest High School. He actively participates in football and has played the sport for four years.

“When asked about how the season is going so far, Nyuon Chuol said, ‘I think the last couple of games we could have won, but that’s just football.'”

Prior to attending Judge Memorial Catholic High School, he played football at Hillcrest. He noted some differences between the schools, including the prioritization of academics at Judge Memorial, whereas football was emphasized above all else at Hillcrest. When asked about the future of Judge football, he replied, “I feel like come playoff time we are either going to go deep in the playoffs, we are for sure going deep in the playoffs, and next year we gonna get one.”

The football team has shown improvement this year, winning more games than in previous years. Rebuilding the team has been a key priority, and they have progressed with each season. Although team chemistry was rough at the start of this season, as they won games, they learned how to play as a team, according to Nyuon Chuol. Players like him are the future of Judge Football, and there is excitement to see what this team will achieve in the next couple of years.

Throughout the season, he had a total of 820 all-purpose yards, averaging 91.1 y/g. He scored six touchdowns and had six interceptions. He made 42 total tackles across the season. There is great anticipation to see what this team can accomplish next year.
