Girls golf only became a sanctioned sport in Utah in 2008, and Judge has been competing at the 3A level since the beginning. Next year the girls golf team will join 4A, and teams like Park City and Cottonwood are winning consistently this year.
Judge is currently in second place in region. Juan Diego is in first place and has five players in the top six spots in region play. Judge has four girls in the top ten in region play so far in 2025, and the good news is that they’ll all be returning next year: Rylie Bates (class of 2028), Katy Beaudry (2028), Sophia Burns (2026), and Maddie Evans (2028).
Of the six teams in 4A Region 10, Park City is in first place, Cottonwood in third place, Jordan in fifth, and Murray in sixth. Of the 5A teams joining Judge’s region next year East is in fifth and Highland in sixth out of six teams.
