This weekend marks the ending performances of Judge’s fall musical, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.”
It tells a tale of several contestants scrambling to win a spelling bee, with many different motives. The play stars Owen Crossman, Theresa Jenny, Owen Oderda, Morgan Schmutz, Maddie Shragge, and Caroline Woodbury as the main contestants. Gabriel Thompson, Abby Jamu, and McKenna Jones play the roles of moderators and supervisors.
Maddie Shragge said she had an amazing time performing and urged people to see the musical.
“It’s a bunch of fun, it’s a bunch of laughs, we have a great time,” Shragge said. “I had a great time putting it on, and I’m excited for you to see it!”
The musical will be performed in the Wiegand Auditorium, and the last days to see the musical are on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15 and 16. Tickets can be purchased in-person or online through Judge’s website.
