Gen Z is the first generation to be tracked by their parents via various apps on phones. Whether it be “Life360” to “FindMy” these apps have raised a question of how independent can kids truly be. When you are under constant surveillance by your parents it is hard to find your way in the world when being so unable to make mistakes, then get in trouble, and then ultimately learn from these mistakes. Junior Makena describes her parents as “being able to have more world experience instead of seeing it through a phone.” I talk about this struggle and much more with Juniors Anthony Goorman, Freddy Gowski, and Makena Gardner on this newest Bulldog Press Podcast.
